HMS Thrasher

Several warships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Thrasher ( Thrasher is the chokes -like bird ):

  • HMS Thrasher (1804 ) was equipped with 12 cannons brig. The ship was built in 1804 and sold in 1814.
  • HMS Thrasher (1856 ) was a gunboat of the Albacore class. The ship was built in 1856 and sold in 1863.
  • HMS Thrasher (1895 ) was a torpedo boat destroyer of the B-Class. The ship was completed in 1895, was used in World War I and sold in 1919.
  • HMS Thrasher ( N 37 ) was a submarine of the T class. The boat ran in 1940 and was scrapped in 1947.
