Hønefoss BK
The Hønefoss BK ( Hønefoss Boldklubb short: HBK ) is a football club from the small Norwegian town Hønefoss Buskerud. The club plays its home games in the 4,000 -seat AKA Arena. The club colors are green and black.
History
The club was founded on 4 February 1895 as IF Liv was renamed several times throughout its history due to mergers with Fossekallen IF and Hønefoss AIL before it received its present name in 2002.
In 2007 it was decided to build a new stadium. After two years of building a stadium was completed with a spectator capacity of 4,000 seats, AKA Arena.
After the climb, 2009 in the Tippeligaen, for the club 's first season ever in the top Norwegian league, Hønefoss had to descend directly back into the 2010 season.
As a master of Adecco Ligaen in the 2011 season and failed to re-emergence in the Tippeligaen.
