Hobulaid

Hobulaid (Swedish Hästholm ) is an Estonian Baltic island.
Hobulaid located between the island and the ferry terminal Vormsi Rohuküla (municipality Ridala ) on the mainland. The island was first mentioned in documents in 1391. It belonged in the Middle Ages to the Episcopal castle of Haapsalu.
Hobulaid has an area of 75 hectares. The highest point is 6.6 meters above sea level. The northern part of the island forms a Os landscape. On the island, alder and juniper grow.
