Geography

History

Excavations have found a stilt houses from the late Stone Age. High village is first mentioned in connection with a church in the year 851 as " Hoftrahun ". Urswil is the first time in the year 893, Baldegg first mentioned in 1236. 962 or 964 will take place probably the dedication of a church by Bishop Conrad of Constance in high village.
