The Hochstein, also called Sibyllenstein, Upper Sorbian Žiwiny, is a 449 meter high mountain in Upper Lusatia in Saxony Bautzen district. He is the highest point of the North West Lusatian mountain country.

The surrounding wooded mountain located between Ohorn the west, the Ohorner Steinberg in the north, the district of the city Childish Elstra in the east and in the south Rammenau. At his side hilltop rises to 317 meters above sea level, the Schwarze Elster. The Great Röder rises southwest of the Highrock.

The summit of the mountain is crowned by a distinctive double rock formation Lusatian granodiorite. Wells indicate it out that the place was a prehistoric sacrifice and worship. A flaming fire on the top would have been much visible from every direction. Today, the all-round visibility is severely restricted by the trees.

Southwest of the high stone is the location in the woods Ausflugsgaststätte forest house lynx castle.
