The high door is 2369 m above sea level. A. the highest mountain in the Alps in Austria Ennstaler. With its 900 -meter-high north-western wall, the high door breaks off into Haindlkar, overall it rises nearly 1800 m from the Enns on.

Routes

The easiest climbs are:

  • From the south over the snow hole ( fear of heights and sure-footedness needed), II
  • Of the Hesshütte over the riser Josefine, I

An ascent of the Haindlkarhütte over the Peternpfad (II ) is also possible.
