Hodgeman County is a county located in the state of Kansas in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Jetmore.

Geography

The County is located in the central south-west of Kansas and has an area of ​​2228 square kilometers, of which one square kilometers of water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Ness County, Pawnee County, Edwards County, Ford County, Grey County and Finney County.

History

Hodgeman County was formed on 26 February 1867. It was named after Amos Hodgman, an officer in the American Civil War.
