Hodoscope

A hodoscope (Greek for path rather ) is a combination of several particle detectors which are arranged in space and with the help of a rule on coincidence measurements, the trajectory of high-energy elementary particles, atoms, ions, or molecules also can be tracked.

Hodoscopes usually are equipped with fast particle, such as scintillation counters, that produce very short light signals.
