Hohenrain

High Rain is a municipality in the constituency high village of the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. On 1 January 2007, the merger became final with the community Lieli LU. The new church is called to continue the High Rain.

Geography

High Rain is in the east, northeast and north of the village high. The municipality consists of the village as well as numerous districts, hamlets, groups of houses and farmsteads.

The village itself is situated on a southwest slope past the Lindenberg. Just north of the village lies at a distance of 700 m, the hamlet Günikon ( 579-596 m asl ). History
