The Hohenstein Bach ( with Haißbach ) is an almost 6.5 km long left tributary of the Nidda or southeasterly.
Geography
Course
The Hohenstein Bach arises from the confluence of Haißbach and Buchborn ditch east of Nidda Michelnau. Often Haißbach is also regarded as a by- name for the upper reaches of the Hohenstein creek. The Hohenstein stream flows near the town of Nidda in the Flutgraben a tributary of the Nidda.
