Hohoe

Hohoe is a town in the Volta Region in the West African nation of Ghana. At the last census of the country on 26 March 2000, there were 35 277 inhabitants in the city. Extrapolations from 1 January 2007 estimate the population to 42 550 inhabitants. In the census of the year 1984 20.994 inhabitants were listed. In 1970, the population was a mere 14,775 inhabitants.

Currently, the city is located at the 35th position in the list of the largest cities in Ghana.
