Hokuto (Yamanashi)

Hokuto (Japanese北 杜 市, - shi) is a city located in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan.

Geography

Hokuto is located east of Matsumoto and west of Kofu and Tokyo.

History

The municipality was created on 1 November 2004 Hokuto from the merger of several communities.
