Hold Me Now (Johnny Logan song)
Hold Me Now is a song by the Irish singer Johnny Logan and the winner title of the Euro Vision Song Contest 1987 in Brussels. Logan had already won in 1980 with What's Another Year Grand Prix.
History
The ballad had written Logan. On the evening of the Euro Vision Song Contest Logan resigned as from 22 to 20, according to Anne Cathrine Herdorf & Bandjo with En lille melodi and before Novi fosili from Yugoslavia with Ja sam za ples. At the end of voting, the song had 172 points.
After Logan had won, he said, alluding to his earlier victory: " I still love you, Ireland". In the following repeating as he could, by his emotions overwhelmed not sing the high notes.
The song reached number one in Ireland and high chart positions in many other countries.
