Holenbrunn is a district of Wunsiedel in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in northeastern Bavaria.
Geography
Holenbrunn located in the Fichtelgebirge mountains in the east of the city Wunsiedel. Neighboring towns are amber, Göpfersgrün, sculpting Reuth, Sinatengrün, Winter Reuth, Winterberg and the city Wunsiedel.
History
- First mentioned in 1500
- 1818: Sculpting Reuth, Holenbrunn, Julius Hammer, Winterberg and winter Reuth be a community
- 1877: The completion of the railway Regensburg -Hof initiated the development into an industrial site
On 1 January 1978 Holenbrunn was incorporated into the city Wunsiedel.

Traffic
The station Wunsiedel Holenbrunn lies on the railway line Regensburg Oberkotzau. There used to be the railway branch lines Holenbrunn - Wunsiedel Tröstau - Leupoldsdorf and Holenbrunn - Selb. The routes have been shut down; the path is partially used as a cycle path.
