Holger Zastrow

Holger Zastrow ( born January 12, 1969 in Dresden ) is a German politician ( FDP). He is state chairman of the FDP Saxony and Chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in the Saxon parliament. From May 2011 to December 2013, he was also deputy national chairman of his party.

Life and career

Holger Zastrow was born into a family of teachers. He graduated from Prof.- Dr.- Zeigner school and the VEB Otto - book Joke Starkstromanlagenbau in Dresden an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, which he completed in 1987. Policy

Zastrow political involvement began during the peaceful revolution in the GDR. He was co-founder in 1989 of the Liberal Youth Action Dresden - as an alternative to state- controlled youth organization FDJ - and in 1990 the first county chairman. 1991/1992 he was a consultant to a FDP member of parliament.
