Holhol

Region

Holhol (also: Hol Hol, Holl - Holl ), with about 5500 inhabitants, the second largest city of Ali Sabieh region in Djibouti. It lies on the railway line from Addis Ababa to Djibouti City.

In Holhol was until 2006 a refugee camp where mainly people from Somalia lived. In June 2006 the camp was closed and the remaining 2,500 refugees have been moved to Ali Adde.
