Holland Taylor

Holland Taylor ( born January 14, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is an American actress.

Life

Taylor studied at Bennington College before she moved to New York City to play theater there. She first appeared on Broadway in 1965, she had next to Anne Bancroft in The Devils, a play by John Whiting.

Holland Taylor played with since the early 1980s in numerous television series and movies, among others, alongside Tom Hanks in the series Bosom Buddies. In Peter Weir's media satire The Truman Show from 1998 Holland Taylor played the mother of Truman Burbank, and in the TV movie The Day Reagan What this shot she played in 2001, the president's wife Nancy Reagan. In 2000, Taylor was recognized for her performance in the drama series The Practice an Emmy. Since 2003 she has been in the U.S. sitcom Two and a Half Men as Evelyn Harper, the mother of Alan Harper (played by Jon Cryer ) and his deceased brother in the series Charlie (played by Charlie Sheen ) to see.
