Hollnseth
Hollnseth is a municipality in the district of Cuxhaven, in Lower Saxony. It consists of the villages Abbenseth, Hollen and Langeln. The Mehe flows through the east of the district.

History
The municipality was created Hollnseth 1 July 1972 through the merger of Abbenseth and Hollen. Hollen was first mentioned in 1004. 1510 then was first documented Abbenseth.

Since the local elections of 2001, the municipal council is composed as follows:
- Wählergemeinschaft Abbenseth: 4 councilors
- Wählergemeinschaft Hollen: 5 councilors
Coat of arms
The coat of arms of Hollnseth shows on a blue background above a Wassermühlenrad, reminiscent of the Hollener mill, and separated below by a wave beam four boiler hook that symbolize the first four courts of Abbenseth.

Structures
In the wake of the 1000 - year celebration in 2004 a barn was converted into an exhibition about the history of the place Hollen, which can be visited as a museum Hollener documents.
