Hollywood Ending is a comedy film directed by and starring Woody Allen, filmed in 2002 in the United States. This Comedy International Film Festival in Cannes opened in September 2002.
Action
The director Val Waxman was very prominent in the 1970s and in the 1980s. He is currently shooting commercials for television. His ex- wife Ellie has a relationship with the boss of the studio galaxy Hal Jaeger.
Waxman is committed to the great project Streets of New York, but blinded temporarily. He and his friends hide the blindness in front of the studio bosses.

The comedy was shot with a budget of 16 million dollars in New York City. It started in the U.S. cinemas on 3 May 2002, in German-speaking Switzerland on 12 December 2002. The DVD is to be had only in the original version ( English ). Hollywood Ending, together with the TV movie "Do not drink the water" the only Woody Allen movie, for which no German -language synchronization.
