Hollywood Records
Hollywood Records is founded in 1989 as American record label, owned by the Walt Disney Company. Along with, inter alia, Buena Vista Records and Walt Disney Records Hollywood Records is part of the Disney Music Group.
The sales took place only on Elektra Records and from 1995 on PolyGram, which was acquired by Universal Music Group in 1998.
In 1991, the label released the entire catalog of Queen for the first time out on the North American market on CD; most of the albums released with additional bonus tracks. Hollywood Records released numerous soundtracks from Disney films. Among other things, the film Pootie Tang published 2001
