Holy Trinity Cathedral, Liepāja

Holy Trinity Cathedral is an Evangelical Lutheran Episcopal Church in the Latvian town of Liepaja.

The foundation stone of the church was laid in 1742, the consecration took place in 1758. During the Baroque style of the church dominates, there are also elements of classicism. The interior is designed in the rococo style, which is particularly noticeable in the numerous gold ornaments. The pews are elaborately decorated with wood carving. The main altar is 13 feet high. Since then, it has 131 registers, 4 manuals and over 7000 pipes and was until 1968 the world's largest mechanical organ. To date, classical performances and concerts take place in the church.
