Homberg, Kusel

Homberg is a municipality in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Lauter corners.

Geography

Homberg is located in the edge of the North Palatine Uplands in Western Palatinate. To the southwest lies the village Schönbornerhof, in the north and in the east bore Herren-Sulzbach. To the west lies the Baumholder military training area. To Homberg also includes the living space Schönbornerhof.

History

The Schörnbornerhof was first documented in 1290, Homberg in 1319th The city was part of the game and Rhine County. Then the red lion refers coat of arms.
