Homer Jacobson

Homer Jacobson ( born November 27, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio) was an American professor of chemistry at Brooklyn College, New York.

1955 - two years after the Miller - Urey experiment - Jacobson had published in the journal " American Scientist " published an article entitled "Information, Reproduction and the Origin of Life." In this article, he claimed without evidence that lightning should be excluded as the cause of biochemical processes.
