Honda Civic (second generation)

Honda Civic station wagon (1980-1983)

The second generation Honda Civic was introduced in early 1979 and produced until the fall of 1983.

The vehicle was 1.3 - and 1.5 -liter engines available. Offered was the Civic with four-speed manual transmission and with the two-speed Hondamatic, later, the five-speed manual and three- speed Hondamatic were added. Since this generation there was the Civic as a notchback sedan, which was depending on the market also called deviation Honda Ballade.

From the spring of 1980 there was also a combination in the program, the base with the longer four-door sedan shared technical ( only for Japan, USA, Switzerland ). The German version was equipped with the 1.3 -liter engine, the North American ( Country ) received the 1.5 - liter engine.
