Honda Concerto

Honda Concerto (1989-1994)

The Honda Concerto is a compact class car and successor of the ballad. It is the result of the collaboration between the Japanese car manufacturer Honda and the independent British car manufacturer Rover. The Concerto was manufactured by the spring of 1989 until the end of 1994.

There were a total of three different engine variants. The smallest engine had 1.5 liters of displacement and developed 90 hp. Also Concerto was equipped with a 1.6 liter multi-point engine 112 hp. The most powerful engine also has 1.6 liters, but makes through its dual overhead camshafts ( DOHC) 122 hp. The data used for the Concerto motors are installed in the fourth Civic.

As standard there was a sunroof, a catalyst and a central locking system. The DOHC version was equipped with ABS.

In Japan, the four-door sedan version of the Concerto in 1992 was replaced by the Honda Domani. For the five-door hatchback of the concerto there was no successor. In Europe, the separation was carried out by the five-door Civic sixth generation until the end of 1995.
