Hondo (Kumamoto)

Hondo (Japanese本 渡 市, Hondo -shi) was a city of the Japanese prefecture of Kumamoto.

History

Hondo was founded on April 1, 1954.

In March 2006 was formed by the merger of Hondo with the city Ushibuka and eight other municipalities, the City Amakusa.
