Hōnen

Honen Shonin (法 然Japanese honing, * 1133, † 1212 ) (also called Genku ) was the founder of the school of Amidism associated Jōdo shū of Japanese Buddhism.

He came out of the Tendai shū before he his own, on the Sukhavativyuha (Jap. Amida阿 弥陀 経- kyō ), the Sūtra of the Land of Bliss is justified occupational own end school around 1175.
