Honeycut

Honeycut is a band from San Francisco and part of the " Quannum Projects". The members are Bart Davenport (voice, vocals), RV Salters (keyboards and samples) and Tony Sevener ( clock, MPC, drums). The band was founded in 2003. In 2006, she released her first album ( The Day I Turned to Glass) and shortly after she received the all 17 years awarded music award from SF Weekly in the category of Best Soul / Funk band. Her music has been influenced by rock, indie pop, soul and funk and its sound spectrum is very large for a three - man band.

Bart Davenport and Tony Sevener come from California, whereas RV Salters was born in Paris and lived in France until he joined the Quannum Projects in 1999. RV Salters shows a unique dance style, while he is playing at their performances keyboard. Mostly they occur in the area around the bay of San Francisco, for example, of remarkable places like "The Independent" or as the opening act for Cake in Berkeley.

Parts of the song " Exodus Honey" from the album "The Day I Turned to Glass " are used in the operating system Mac OS X Leopard intro video, which is usually played on the first start of the system.
