Honeymoon

A time is called immediately after the wedding as a honeymoon, the couple spends together. The honeymooners are often connected to a honeymoon. The term second honeymoon is sometimes used when a pair means a trip would revive his marriage new.

Etymology

Germany

According to a study by a private provider of honeymoons from 2009 with 108 participating couples make 91 % of the German wedding couples a honeymoon, of which 64 % within one month after the wedding, while 36% perform the so-called honeymoon until later.

About 37 % of couples are willing to spend € 2000 to € 4000 for their honeymoon. 15 % have even earmarked a budget of 4000 € to 6000 €.

Austria

A study from 2011 shows that go from 207 surveyed couples on honeymoon 94.7 %, of which 76 % within the first month after the wedding. 71.5 % of respondents are willing to spend over 3000 € for their trip, 29 % even over 5000 €. Most popular continent for the honeymoon, the Austrian is Europe, which is at 50% at the top, followed by Africa and Asia. 24.4 % of couples do the journey within Austria.
