Hong Kong at the 1956 Summer Olympics
Hong Kong, then still a British colony, adopted at the Summer Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 for the second time after 1952 Summer Olympics in part.

It started only two swimmers Cheung Kin Man and Wan Shiu Ming. Cheun Kin Man, who participated already at the Summer Olympics in 1956, started in the 100 m freestyle and 400 m backstroke. Wan Shiu Ming launched in the 100 m freestyle and 400 m freestyle. Both came in no competition on the first heat addition.
