Honmon Butsuryū-shū

The Honmon Butsuryū shū (Japanese本 门 佛 立 宗) is a the Nichiren Buddhism attributable Buddhist school.

It was (长 松 日 扇; 1817-1890 ) first as a lay organization in 1857 by Nagamatsu Nissen founded in Japan. Although this grouping is generally regarded as the first lay Buddhist organization in Japan dedicated to the Lotus Sutra and the teachings of Nichiren devoted, but led them later in their history the priesthood and is therefore sometimes also counted among the traditional schools of Nichiren Buddhism. Main temple of Honmon Butsuryū shū is located in Kyoto Yusei -ji. The majority of the followers is located in Japan, there are also communities in North America and Brazil.
