Hop! (Proper spelling HOP! ) Is a French airline based in Rungis and a subsidiary of Air France.

History

Hop! was established on 31 March 2013 from the merger of the regional subsidiaries of Air France - Brit Air, Régional and Airlinair - and to respond to the competition by the various low cost airlines such as easyJet or Ryanair. The line took over the former CEO of Airlinair, Lionel Guérin. The first flight took place A5 881 to Perpignan on 31 March 2013 Paris -Orly. The slogan of the company is in allusion to the name " Faire un saut d'une région à l' autre " ( German: jump from one region to another. ).

Destinations

Hop! takes over since March 2013 successively numerous national and European regional and feeder flights of its three predecessors, Brit Air, Régional and Airlinair on behalf of the parent company Air France, hence the suffix Hop partly used! for Air France. In German-speaking Dusseldorf, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Vienna and Basel are served.

Fleet

As of November 2013, there is the fleet of the Hop! of 103 aircraft, more aircraft will be gradually taken over by the consolidated airlines.
