Hope is a city in Hempstead County in the U.S. state of Arkansas with about 10,600 inhabitants ( 2009) and is the county seat of administration. The metropolitan area has a size of 25.9 km ².
Hope is part of the socio-economic region Ark- La -Tex, which includes parts of the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
