The Hope Creek Nuclear Power Plant is a U.S. nuclear power plant, located near Lower Alloway Creek Township, New Jersey. The facility has a boiling water reactor. The owner and operator is the PSEG Nuclear, LLC. In addition to the power plant is the nuclear power plant Salem.

Block 1

Block 1 is a boiling water reactor from General Electric with a net electrical power output of 1059 MWe and a gross capacity of 1139 MWe. Construction began on 1 March 1976 he was first synchronized on 1 August 1986 with the power supply and went on December 20, 1986 in commercial operation. The natural draft wet cooling tower has a height of 165 meters.
