Hopesfall

Hopesfall was founded in 1998 as a post-hardcore band from Charlotte ( North Carolina), USA.

History

Hopesfall is founded in 1998 by five young people in Charlotte (North Carolina) as Christian hardcore punk band. After a few gigs in the local area is recorded in 1999 the album The Frailty Of Words. It is, in comparison to the other plates of the band, quite rugged and is not recognized by Hopesfall later as a full album. 2001 EP No Wings To Speak Of displayed. After several changes in the cast, the band signed a record deal with Trustkill Records and released in 2002 the album The Satellite Years. Due to the forced separation of guitarist Ryan Parrish therefore the Christian attitude was dropped. The next two years they are touring the world with bands like Coheed & Cambria, Killswitch Engage, Snapcase, The Juliana Theory or The Ataris. The Satellite Years appear via Roadrunner Records in Germany in September 2004. The album A Types is published in late 2004 in the U.S. and early 2005 in Germany. It moves away from the post-hardcore towards the alternative rock. It sells the world over 80,000 times. In July 2007 the fourth studio album Magnetic North appears.

On January 2, 2008 is the band, which at this time has only one member of the original cast, known via their MySpace resolution.
