Hôpital d'instruction des armées Percy

The Hôpital d'instruction of Armées Percy is a military hospital in Clamart near Paris, France. It is operated by the French army and treats both military and civilian patients. Patron of the hospital is Pierre -François Percy, the surgeon in the French army during the French revolution.

The hospital has a specially equipped department for victims of burns and the treatment of radioactively contaminated patients.

Prominent patients

The leader of the PLO, Yasser Arafat was treated here from 29 October 2004 until his death on 11 November 2004.

Former Lebanese Minister Bassel Fleihan was treated here after the attack on the convoy of Rafiq al -Hariri on 14 February 2005, in which he suffered burns on 95 percent of his skin surface, but succumbed to his injuries after 63 days and died on 18 April 2005.
