Horace Elgin Dodge

Horace Elgin Dodge ( May 17, 1868 *, † December 10, 1920 ) was American automobile manufacturers.

Life

Horace Elgin Dodge and his brother John Francis Dodge invented together the first complete steel car in the United States. They helped Henry Ford to build his factory and built their first car with the name Dodge in 1914 in Detroit, Michigan.

He died 52 years old at the Spanish flu.
