Horacio Gallardo

Horacio Gallardo Burgos (born 29 May 1981) is a Bolivian cyclist.

Horacio Gallardo was third in the 2004 stage Doble Copacabana Grand Prix Fides. The next year he won the road race in the Bolivian championship. In 2005 and 2006 he made ​​it to sections of the Doble Copacabana Grand Prix Fides and Doble Sucre Potosi GP several times on the podium. In the 2007 season he won a stage at the Doble Sucre Potosi GP and he was for the second time in Bolivia road champion.

At the Olympic road race in 2008 Gallardo caused a stir when he drove 120 km long before the field together with the Chilean Patricio Almonacid and it had partially over 15 minutes ahead. Still, it was no problem for the favorites to catch the duo at mid race again.
