Hormando Vaca Diez

Hormando Vaca Díez ( born April 30, 1949 and † 9 February 2010 Warnes ) was President of the Senate ( Cámara de Senadores ) in the National Congress of Bolivia, journalist, lawyer and leader of the Movimiento de Izquierda Bolivian government party Revolucionaria (MIR ). As an applicant to the post of president after the resignation of Carlos Mesa he resigned after protests against his person to the post, with the assertion that public protests were controlled by Carlos Mesa and Evo Morales. He died on 9 February 2010 after a heart attack at his country house in the town of Warnes in the department of Santa Cruz.
