The Horsefly River is a river in the Cariboo Regional District in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The river has its source near the Wells Gray Provincial Park. It ends after 98 km in the Quesnel Lake and thus is a tributary of the Quesnel River which is a tributary of the Fraser River itself. The Horsefly River is a spawning area of sockeye salmon, king salmon and silver salmon. The Horsefly River has the status of a British Columbia Heritage River.
