Horst Effertz

Horst Effertz (* August 4, 1938 in Dusseldorf ) is a retired German rower. He was in Rome in 1960 Olympic champion.

Effertz launched for the Rowing Club Germania Dusseldorf 1904. 1958 he was together with Gerd Cintl German champion in pairs without coxswain and two with coxswain, helmsman sat Michael Obst in the boat. At the European Championships in 1958 and Cintl Effertz won silver in two without.
