Horst Hoeck

Horst Hoeck ( born May 19, 1904 in Berlin, † 12 April 1969) was a German rower, the 1932 Olympic champion in the four with coxswain.

Horst Hoeck launched for the Berlin Rowing Club and moved in his career between Sweep Rowing and Rowing Skull. In 1926 he won the eighth at the German Championship. Two years later he met with Gerhard Voigt in the double sculls and won his second title. At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 Voigt and Hoeck finished fourth.

1931 won Hoeck with the four of Berlin's RC in the German Championship. 1932 sat Joachim Spremberg and Horst Hoeck from the 1931er four in the German foursome at the Olympic Games in 1932. 's Occupation Hans Eller, Horst Hoeck, Walter Meyer, Joachim Spremberg and helmsman Carl Heinz Neumann, the boat won by a narrow margin against the Italian boat.
