Horst Jankhöfer

Horst Jankhöfer ( born January 26, 1942 in Sander village ) is a former German handball player and handball coach.

The 1.82 meter tall Jankhöfer played for SC Leipzig.

In the array of men's national handball team of the GDR Horst Jankhöfer played at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 and threw in four games for the team in the GDR four goals.

After his playing career, he was handball trainers. He first trained unit of Halle- Neustadt ( 1st and 2nd league ), then ZAB Dessau ( 1st and 2nd league ) and lastly the HG 85 Köthen from 1988 to 1990, with whom he achieved promotion to the DDR Oberliga.
