Horst Wendlandt

Horst Wendlandt ( born March 15, 1922 in Criewen at Schwedt; † August 30, 2002 in Berlin; actually Horst Otto Grigori Gubanov ) was a German film producer.

Life

Wendlandt was the son of a Russian peasant and a German mother. He was adopted by the sister of his mother, and took her name. After attending a higher commercial school in 1939, he completed an apprenticeship with Tobis - tone image Syndicate, which took it over in 1941 as treasurer.
