Horst Zuse
Career and activities
Zuse studied from April 1967 to December 1973 at the Technical University of Berlin electrical engineering. This he graduated in December 1973 with a diploma. In March 1983, he graduated as Dr.-Ing. in the field of software complexity measures, and in December 1998 he successfully completed his Habilitation at the Technical University of Berlin ( authorization to teach practical computer science ). 2006, the Hochschule Lausitz ( FH) has appointed him honorary professor and in 2009 professor.
He specializes in the area of software engineering and developed from 1996 to 2000, the Konrad Zuse multimedia show, which deals with the history of computer development. From June 1998 to September 2008 he was a lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin. From February 1998 to May 1998 he was a visiting professor at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette active (USA) and from November 2003 to November 2006 visiting professor at the Hochschule Lausitz ( FH) have been. Since December 2008 he is mainly active on the Lausitz University and has continued a slight teaching at the TU Berlin.
Together with William Mons Horst Zuse published two books about his father.
