The Hösbach is a good 5 -km-long right tributary of the Aschaff in the field of market Hoesbach in the Lower Franconian district of Aschaffenburg.

Name

Flood

In May In 1931 a strong storm over the district of Aschaffenburg. Especially bad Hoesbach was haunted. Here fell 93 liters per square meter. The normally one meter wide and six inches deep Hoesbach had reached this evening a huge size. He was in places 30 m wide and 5 m deep. At the Hoesbach bridge where the accident happened, the statue of St. Nepomuk was built to commemorate the victims.
