Hosjö, Falun

Hosjö [' huɧœ ] is a neighborhood and a church ( församling ) in Falun, Sweden. The district is the easternmost town and consists mainly of detached and isolated from apartment buildings with a total of about 3,000 inhabitants ( 2005). It is located between the lakes Hosjön and Runn.

The parish ( socks ) was separated from the parish Vita and the church itself was initially intended only as a chapel for the parish Vita. The Chapel of Hosjö is on the edge of the district and was built in 1663 as falun red wooden church. Only in the 1970s was a church from the chapel.
