Hot Club de Paris

Hot Club De Paris is a three-piece English indie rock band that was founded in Liverpool in 2004 and currently stands at Moshi Moshi Records.

Band History

The band was founded in 2004, after Smith and Rafferty had met in 2003 on a racetrack in Chester. The members played previously in bands from Liverpool. Their sound is audibly influenced by Mathrock and experimental indie rock, where they also share their love of American punk rock.

In 2005, she signed with Moshi Moshi Records and toured extensively to record their first album Drop It 'Til It Pops supporten, which also enjoyed so strong airplay in England. 2006 and 2007 they accompanied bands like Maxïmo Park as the opening act and The Who world.
