Hottah Lake

Hottah Lake is a lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Its water surface is 840 square kilometers, including the islands total area is 918 km ². The lake is located 30 km south of Great Bear Lake. It is drained by the river Camsell River to Great Bear Lake and drained out.

Legacy

When the Curiosity rover sound evidence for an old riverbed on Mars on a pile of smooth stones cemented found (conglomerates ), the project manager named one of the two rocks Hottah for this lake - the link was called.
