Hottviller

Hottviller ( German: Hott hamlet ) is a commune with 583 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It is part of the Regional Natural Park of Vosges du Nord.

Geography

Hott hamlet located in the north of Lorraine, about ten kilometers in a straight line from the German - French border, five kilometers north-west of Bitche away.

History

The church was first mentioned in 1577 as Hodtweiller. Since 1790, the village in the canton of Volmunster.
